International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) is a regional knowledge development and learning centre serving the 8 regional member countries of the Hindu Kush-Himalayas.

ICIMOD is based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Aim & Objectives

To assist mountain people to understand changes, adapt to them, and make the most of new opportunities induced by globalisation and climate change and its influences on the stability of fragile mountain ecosystems and the livelihoods of mountain people.
