Objective of the initiative

The purpose of this manual is to provide regional coordinators with materials and resources to conduct in-country teacher-training on two unit themes in the Health and Family Life Education (HFLE) Common Curriculum:

• Self and Interpersonal Relationships and
• Sexuality and Sexual Health

• Ministries of Education of Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, and St. Lucia
• EDC
• UNICEF
• CARICOM

The project was supported by UNICEF and the Ministries of Education of partcipating countries.

It is included in:

• Antigua and Barbuda Initiative Book (Health, Education),
• Grenada Initiative Book (Health, Education), and
• St. Lucia Initiative Book (Health, Education)

Milestones

Starts when a suitable number of contributors and donors have been identified, or

2005 (with an HFLE training of trainers workshop in St. Lucia)
